Socratis Vanguard Melee Unit - Station Forge

The Socratis Vanguard Melee Unit is what happens when “hold the line” turns into “walk directly through the line and make it everyone else’s problem.”

Armed with brutal close-combat weapons, heavy shields, power claws, hammers, blades, and oversized armored confidence, these sci-fi warriors are built for players who like their tabletop squads bold, aggressive, and very difficult to ignore.

This unit brings a strong mix of elite-infantry bulk, command presence, and melee-focused menace. Whether you’re building a hard-hitting sci-fi warband, adding close-combat specialists to your army, or painting a squad with plenty of armor, skulls, shields, and weapon detail, the Socratis Vanguard Melee Unit is ready to get uncomfortably close to the enemy.

⚔️ Perfect For

• Sci-fi tabletop wargaming armies
• Elite melee infantry, veteran squads, bodyguards, or command units
• RPG encounters that need heavily armored close-combat enemies
• Painters who love shields, claws, hammers, blades, armor panels, and skull details
• Display shelves that could use more “please stop advancing toward me” energy

🔥 Why You’ll Love Them

• Heavy sci-fi armor with a bold, elite battlefield silhouette
• Multiple melee weapon styles for strong visual variety
• Great mix of shields, claws, hammers, blades, and command-style details
• Strong squad identity while still giving each model its own personality
• Excellent tabletop presence for close-combat units, objective brawlers, and dramatic centerpiece squads

The Socratis Vanguard Melee Unit is not here for polite ranged negotiations.

They are here to close the distance, make a point, and possibly use a hammer to underline it.
